AIMS would like to extend an invitation for students to attend a special event on Monday, January 31st. Professor Kevin Desouza has helped put together an innovation panel for the prize-driven philanthropy course. The students are looking forward to hearing from each of you.
Each of the distinguished guests will share their experiences and ideas about the challenges (and opportunities) of tackling some of the grand challenges facing our society. Each has a unique lens and perspective through which they approach these varied issues.
The Panelists
Ben Slivka – “an investory, philanthropist, and software engineer with a passion for education”.
Rick LeFaivre – “a computer scientist, professor, R&D executive, board member and venture investor working at leading universities, high technology companies and venture firms”.
Erik Lindbergh – A Board Member of the X-Prize Foundation.
The panel will take place on January 31st (Monday) from 3.30PM to 5PM in Parrington Hall Room 108.
Please RSVP to Kevin Desouza (kev.desouza@gmail.com) as space will be limited.
