AIMS officers Megha Thakkar, Ashish Malviya, Ajay Pillay, and Jordan Eschler met incoming day students last Thursday at their orientation session, and AIMS officer Jason Robertson presented the Mid-Career student orientation on Friday evening. It was exciting to see all the incoming students, Â especially those lucky enough to score chocolate from us at the iSchool fair on Friday!
We hope everyone is looking forward to the beginning of the quarter tomorrow, and we know the first year students are wondering what they’ll be doing in the first quarter. The 2011 cohort has a blog with details about our IMT540 projects as well as tips about great places to study and other fun stuff. It’s a resource we share to keep each other informed, and we hope you will find it helpful too.
Also, a reminder: this Thursday, September 30 from 4-6pm we will be at Finn MacCool’s on the Ave. This is a great opportunity to meet 2nd year students, alumni, and faculty. We hope to see you there!
Best of luck to everyone in the upcoming quarter.

Thanks for sharing the link to the 2011 blog Jordan. This will help us learn from your work and apply it to ours. Also its awesome to see news updates on innovations in the information management field.
Good work!
Thanks
