Site updates

Please note that we’ll be reorganizing this site and updating the theme starting the weekend of 9/18/2010. We thought that it might be interesting for folks to see the site take shape, so we’ll be pushing live updates as we make them. That means you may see some strange behavior, such as broken links or blank pages, until the redesign is complete (hopefully, by the 30th of the month).

In order to provide a more useful and usable site, we’ll dramatically simplify the current taxonomy. The front page will contain a quick overview of information available, and subsequent pages will be more focused and clean. We’re also getting rid of the extraneous forum on the main site, and we’re moving Q&AIMS to a new bit of forum software so that we have a greater ability to manage that content. Last but not least, we’ll brush up the graphics, including the logo.

Of course, we’d love to hear your feedback, so leave a comment and let us know what you think.

Thank you for all of your hard work, Stuart! My favorite part so far is the prominence of the events list on the homepage.
