As the fall quarter draws closer, we’re getting ready for a slew of projects and events. We’ll be meeting Monday, August 23rd from 7:00PM until 8:00PM in MGH 310D. Hope to see you there!
Informal Agenda:
Website overhaul: Stuart is working on revising the website look and feel, and we can talk about content strategy as well.
Executive workshop: Jason has been working hard on an agenda for a daylong exec workshop for incoming students with Mike Crandall.
International student panel: A resource for current & incoming international students, this will be guest-moderated and sponsored by AIMS shortly after Welcome Week.
Partnership with InfoCamp: Emily has been working on a co-sponsorship for meetups with the InfoCamp folks (Aug 25 & Sept 23 are the scheduled gathering dates)
Internship interview videos: Jordan will be recording short interviews from the ’11 cohort on their interviews. Brian will edit the footage, and we plan to share the videos on a YouTube channel linked to the website.
Monthly talks: Jordan & Brian discussed bringing in alumni, professors, & professionals to speak one evening a month on relevant topics. The first two sessions are sketched out.
