Keeping Up With AIMS

As we wrap up this quarter, just a friendly reminder about how you too can keep in touch with AIMS (your MSIM student organization) over the summer.
1) We’re on Twitter
Trying to turn the AIMS Twitter account (aimsuw) into an information resource. Posting job openings, campus events related to careers, and following some of the interesting people (MSIM and beyond) in the Seattle area and beyond. Any feedback for how to make this better?

2) We have Q&AIMS
Q&AIMS is the best way for you, a current or prospective UW MSIM student, to get your questions about the program, learning areas, careers, and life after the program answered by those who know best, other current and former MSIM students. The goal for this service is to facilitate real, honest exchange of information that is important to MSIM students.

3) We’re on Facebook
Primarily used to publicize events, but we hope to expand to include job/internship postings, MSIM/iSchool/UW news and whatever else catches our fancy.

4) We’re on LinkedIn
As every professional group should be. A way to facilitate communication with both current and former MSIM and iSchool members. Relatively new, so feedback is appreciated.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us via any of these methods or contact the officers directly.
