Ajay Pillay
“Representing the AIMS, the MSIMers
and the future Chief Officers”
I do not want to miss out on this opportunity of representing AIMS as a Public Relations Officer. I have previously held the post of Publicity Head in my undergraduate college. I was able to successfully gather about half the funds for the technical fest NUCLEUS’07 from various corporations in and around Mumbai. I was also able to make sure that our college event was well publicized in over 60 colleges across Mumbai.
I am currently part of the Facebook team for the AIMS group and aspire to support the group as a Public Relations Officer to increase the awareness of our group and our program’s existence.

If given the opportunity to serve as the Public Relations Officer for AIMS, I will work hard to strengthen communications for the program — both internally on behalf of AIMS and the iSchool student community, and externally to help spread the word about the value of an information management degree. My passion lies in the continued evangelism of the program’s benefits, and I hope to work with everyone in the MSIM community – students, alumni, and employers – let people know about the good things we can (and will!) do in this field.
