Jan 4th 2010 meeting – Application review of International Students for the Day program. More domestic students expected to apply, expect approximately 40 overall for Fall of 2011.

Agenda

  1. 1. Low Employer registration on this year’s iSchool Career Fair.
  2. 2. Discussion about the lack of Information systems analysis classes, possibility of putting summer institute classes back into the UW catalog.
  3. 3. Staff are spending a lot of time setting up internships, especially for international students. We currently have very few resources to devote to internships that aren’t currently tapped out.

  1. 1. Increased student demand for Independent Studies, faculty are trying to find a way to fit into the course load.
  2. 2. Discuss the upcoming Applications review, good quality of incoming students, English proficiency is improving.
  3. 3. End of quarter feedback sessions with students and faculty, need more student involvement.
