Spring Ice Cream Social and Induction

IFSA had a wonderful, sun and ice-cream filled afternoon out in the SEFS courtyard for our Spring Ice Cream Social and Induction. The ice cream was great, and we even had some excellent international toppings like mango syrup! We said a great big thank you to our past year’s officers and their commitment to the club and then nominated and elected officers for this upcoming 2015-2016 school year including:

  • President – Rachel Yonemura
  • VP Membership – Lord Ameyaw
  • VP Fundraising – Rachel Roberts
  • VP Public Relations – Salina Abraham
  • Immediate Past President – Miku Lenentine

Thank you to all that came, and we can’t wait to see you again October 15th, 2015 for our Fall welcome meeting.ice cream social 3

IFSA Spring Networking Event Great Turnout

A big thank you to SEFS Staff, IFSA and SAF Volunteers, and the SEFS Alumni Association for putting on an excellent Spring Networking Event! We had great feedback about both our networking skills workshop and the alumni networking social – enough that we know we’ll need to bring it back again next year. We had great attendance from undergraduate and graduate students for both segments and everyone had some wonderful snacks and brews while chatting with 11 alumni members representing a huge variety from Microsoft to Weyerhaeuser to the City of Seattle Parks and Recreation Office and more!
