Volunteers needed for this sunday’s sea-fair marathon
Namaste everyone,
This Sunday a bunch of us are participating in the sea-fair marathon as part of the Ekal Marathon program.
As part of our partnership with sea-fair, we have been asked to provide some volunteer support for the race.
If you can help out, you will receive two free t-shirts, one from sea-fair and another one from Ekal. We need to send the list by tomorrow afternoon, so please reply soon. Once we have the final list, we will coordinate the transportation accordingly.
Date of the race: Sunday June 29th 2008.
Location: somewhere along the course
Approximate volunteer time: 2 hrs b/w 7 am to 11 am.
Read the content below from the race director.
Calling All Volunteers
Course monitors are an essential part of any race; especially marathons, and we need a few more. Course monitors are placed along the route to ensure the safety of both the public and participants. They are the eyes and ears of the race that keep runners safe while providing encouragement to the participants making their way along the course. All volunteers will receive a Seafair Marathon Volunteer t-shirt and an invitation to our volunteer thank you party after the festival in August. Please contact Kyle Brown if you are interested in helping. Additionally, Seafair will donate to non-profit fundraising groups and charities that provide 15 or more volunteers.
Thanks,
Rama Yanam
