    My Biography

New year, new bio. Pretty generic stuff. Born in Taiwan, moved to America when I was five. Attended William and Mary for my bachelor's in IT with a minor in Biology. Then attended Emory University for my master's in Public Health Informatics. I have assisted in research at the CDC, Emory’s Public Health Preparedness, and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

My current research interests include exploring new intersections between Public Health Informatics and Bioinformatics. I work on the BioMediator team : exploring the potential for epidemiologic and genetic data to be combined on a larger scheme.

My main advisor is Dr. Peter Tarczy-Hornoch. Dr. Chris Carlson at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center is my main collaborator. Other collaborations includes the departments of Public Health Genetics (Dr. Melissa Austin).

I'm also the proud owner of the cutest doggy in the world, Lucy!
