The Honors Student Advisory Panel (HSAP) is a small group of students dedicated to advising the Honors Program administration on issues important to its students. We try to ensure that those making policy are kept abreast of the thoughts and ideas of those whom the policy affects. As the administration discusses new programmatic and community building ideas, it is vital to have student input at every step of the way.

Aside from dealing with program and policy issues, our committee projects for the 2007-2008 academic year include bringing Honors community together through activities such as the HSAP Speaker Series and the Honors Research Colloquium, assessing the quality of Honors faculty and course offerings, reaching out to new and incoming students, and administering the annual Honors Excellence in Teaching Award. We are always open to new ideas; our projects often shift with the interests of the panel.
