UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON

DEPARTMENT OF GLOBAL HEALTH

MPH THESIS WEBSITE

This website has been created for students interested in practical thesis opportunities for the requirement of the Master of Public Health degree. This year, the Department of Global Health hopes to build upon the foundation laid in previous years by offering students more structured thesis opportunities through partners and friends in the practice community.

Faculty and community members:

Have a thesis idea or research opportunity for students? Please click here to learn how to get your proposed research project on this website!

Some of the below projects are partially or completely funded; some are not. The primary commitment from the organizations offering thesis and collaboration opportunities is 3-fold:

(1) offering the time that is required to assist students in forming research questions,

(2) accessing population and data required to answer the question, and

(3) assisting in synthesizing the information once data has been collected.

Students: Remember that two (or more) UW faculty members will serve on your thesis committee.
