If you would like to try a HONG KONG STYLE Thanksgiving or if you didn't really like turkey, come join our HOT POT night on November 25th (WED) at Hong Kong Bistro (Seattle Chinatown)!!! We know many of you are just dying to eat some fish balls, meat balls, sliced meat, tofu puffs, and much much more! So don't hesitate to come and enjoy a night or all-you-can-eat hot pot!!!!! For those who haven't had hot pot at HK Bistro before, you will definitely be impressed by the wide variety of delicious food there! XD

HKSA is bringing in FUN BEFORE FINALS!!! XD
The Bellevue Magic Season is coming next week! HKSA is now organizing an ice-skating trip for every one of you! Come and enjoy the skating in the open-air with your friends before the finals week!! Refreshments are also provided in the tented viewing hut!
Don't worry if you don't know how to get there! We are planning to meet up at the bus stop behind Schmitz Hall (15th Ave NE & NE Campus Pkwy), and take the bus 271 to the arena together. Our officers will be there, waiting for you between 1:30pm and 2:15pm. If you want to leave with our officers, we will be very happy to bring you back to UW as well! Additional Information!! It'll be a great opportunity for you to enjoy the Snowflake Lane where it snows every night, starting at 7 p.m. on Bellevue Way. Come and let the live toy soldiers and winter characters, music, and a dazzling light show brighten the night and warm your heart.

Upcoming events include a movie night in Terry Lounge from 530pm with the film 葉問 "Ip man", thanksgiving hotpot in Chinatown on November 25th at 7pm, and an iceskating event early December.
Ip Man is the award winning martial arts film based off the martial artist, Ip Man. For those of you unfamiliar with Ip Man, he was the famous martial arts master of Bruce Lee and was the first to teach the Chinese martial art of Wing Chun openly. This is an awesome film and definitely worth seeing once (or twice). Popcorn and drinks will be provided! We hope to see you all there!

Enjoy a weekend of fun, whether hitting the slopes or just hanging out in Whistler village. Whistler Blackcomb is the largest ski resort in the northwest, and will be the official alpine skiing venue for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

HKSA is now organizing a Dim Sum Trip for all of you this coming Saturday (10/24) at 2 pm. This will be a great chance for you to join us in enjoying some siu mai, chao siu bao, shrimp dumplings, lobak go, and much more at Jade Garden!
For those who need a ride, we are planning to meet up in front of Condon Hall and take the bus to the International District together. There will be officers waiting there at 1:30 pm on 10/24 (Sat).
We will be selling tickets at our booth outside the HUB from 10/20 (Tues) to 10/23 (Fri) between 10:10am and 2:30pm.

We will be showing our orientation video as well as going over our events this year. There will be games for you all to participate and to win prizes.
You don't have to be Chinese to join, nor do you have to be from Hong Kong. If you want to know more about HKSA, meet some new friends and eat free food, come and join us at HUB 106B! You can sign up for HKSA membership and enjoy the fabulous discounts from our sponsors!
*There will be a mahjong cram session in the orientation for all who are curious about mahjong*
