Hossein Estiri
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at UW's Institute of Translational Health Sciences. I received my Ph.D from the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Urban Design and Planning, at University of Washington. I also completed statistics track at the Center for Statistics ofr Social Sciences. My dissertation research was on energy consumption behaviors at the residential sector.

Research Interests
Urbanization and Climate Change: Residential energy consumption, Climate Change policy, Sustainable behaviors.
Social Demography: Housing Consumption Behaviors, Residential Mobility, Suburbanization, Housing Career, Residential Distribution Patterns, Climate impacts on mobility behaviors.
Quantitative methods: Covariance structure modeling, Geostatistical Analysis.
