- Please join us for the HCASB 2010 Participant Information Session on Tuesday, November 24, 6:30-7:30PM in HUB 209A for information about going on HCASB, applying, and other Q&A. Past participants will be speaking about their HCASB experiences.
- Interested in applying but can't make it Tuesday night? We will hold another information session in Winter Quarter (TBA). You can also direct any questions to us by email: hcasb@u.washington.edu.
- HCASB 2010 Participant Applications will go online Saturday, Dec. 19th. Application URL will be available here on the website, and sent out on our mailing list.

Healthcare Alternative Spring Break
Healthcare Alternative Spring Break (HCASB) offers University of Washington students an opportunity to learn
about and experience Healthcare in rural or underserved clinics in Washington state during every spring break.
Prior to departure, UW students chosen to participate in the project learn about their particular site and the
health issues relevant to the community. At the site, the team spends time shadowing healthcare professionals
and attending scheduled talks pertaining to Healthcare. The team will also participate in a community service activity
at a local school or agency.
