This Place is AURYN

Inscribed on the reverse side of the AURYN medallion in Michael Ende's The Neverending Story were the words Do what you wish. AURYN had the power to grant wishes in Fantastica, the realm of stories. Bastian Balthazar Bux, the little boy to whom the medallion was entrusted, would discover that, inevitably, no power comes without a cost, and AURYN proved no exception. The drawback to this wonderous power was that AURYN's bearer would not be permitted to leave Fantastica until he finished all the stories he started.
I have the deepest empathy for this problem, for I have started three novels and would like nothing better than to throw down the completed manuscript of just one of them and say Damn you, I'm done! Thus far, this has not been my fate. The links below lead to what I hope are polished excepts from my many follies.
