AGE TWO - The Domination of Humans
- Dominant Species: Humans (over 90% of the world)
Ever since the end of the first age, the humans became the dominant species, there was peace for the next 5000 thousands years. During this time, many creations of the Dark Lord were freed and began their own colonization. Among these, the better known were the ariels and draconians. Next to The Centaur Kingdom, and the giants.
Though the second age was a time of technological advancement, much friction between the races caused many small wars. Just to name a few important ones:
1, The War of the Deeps (Draconian v. Dwarves)
2, The War of Slavery (Minotaurs v. Drows)
3, The War of the Plains (Centaurs v. Minotaurs)
4, The Holy Crusades (Humans v. Dark Minions)
5, The War of the Skies (Draconian v. Ariels)
6, The War of the West (Giants v. Centuar/Humans)
However, all of these were minor comparing to the next event. The splitting of the north and south human Kingdoms in an escalating race for power. Very soon the north and south, now both an alliance of a range of races became at war. The war escalated for 2000 years and very soon, people don't even know why they live in the blood bath.
The Isle of war once again became the crucial turning point for many many battles, and blood continues to spill. The 7 holy guilds of the 7 heroes split into 10 guilds and the race of arms continued to escalate still, it's an age of Heroes and Anti-heroes, in the end, the Grey Lord of Taerra decided that the lands are filled with too much sorrow, as a gesture of mercy, he formed the house of the Grey Watchers. A Force which under the next 500 years, worked to weaken both the north and the southern kingdoms.
It was an eventful year when the weakened kingdoms now realized they would not prosper if they continued the war. An accord was reached. The Isle of War is to become neutral land forever, so either side would never have to worry about the other side gaining an advantage over the other.
The Northern and Southern Kingdom's Kings and Queens met at the Isle of war, in the city of Atlanthias for a meeting of peace. Yet for unknown reasons everyone, Kings and Peasants on the Isle was assassinated that night by an unknown source. In the same year, blazing inferno flames scorched the ancient cities of Veridien and Phinniel down to ruins. (Phinnel was later known as, Empirius)
The falling of the North and South marked the end of the second age. All other races whom has eyed the domination of the world began to prosper as the human forces weakened to a point of no return.
