Call for Papers (NOW ACCEPTING PAPERS)
The Northwest Security Symposium (NWSec) is an educational two day event, presented by the Grey Hat Group, which provides both a broad perspective and
an in-depth look at leading topics in information assurance and cyber security. Concentrating on all aspects of computer or network security, NWSec seeks
academic and professional papers from any level, offering novel or original research or application of research, for submission to the 2008 Symposium
scheduled for February. The primary focus is on high-quality original research or application of research. The research may be completed or a
work-in-progress. Papers should have practical relevance to one of the aspects of design, development, implementation, or best-practices in information
security.
Theoretical Papers
Theoretical papers are encouraged to make a convincing argument for the practical significance of the results. Theory should be backed by illustrating its application in modern networked computer systems.
Authors of accepted conference papers will be subjected to an expedited peer review process. Authors are strongly encouraged to include a brief statement indicating how their conference paper fits well with the conference theme.
