Dr. Bai received the Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of British Columbia(UBC, Canada, in 2003. She joined the the Institute of Technology at University of Washington Tacoma as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Bai was previously an assistant professor in the Computer Science department at Columbus State University in Georgia. She has performed research in the areas of network security, information assurance and quality of service in multimedia transportation over the Internet. Her research interests also include cyberinfrastructure for information technology education, computer science and engineering education.
