May 12th, 2006: OCN101 Research Cruise on the R/V Clifford A. Barnes. I was in the afternoon cruise, which meant I rode the van up to Point Wells, and joined the boat for the second leg of its trip: one the way back we passed Shilshoe Marina, the silly Sea Lions, and came through the Ballard Locks.

May 14th, 2006: Mother's Day. 5 of us went kayaking on Lake Union. It was a lot of fun, but as it turns out, I'm a terrible photographer of friends. These pictures are awful! And I didn't even get one of Toupes actually looking at the camera or anything. You should check out Jon's page instead.
