I specialize in applications of social network analysis to international public health problems.  I'm currently working on developing statistical models to analyze the spread of respiratory disease through networks of social contacts.  I'm also analyzing the social network properties of economic resource exchance in rural Malawi, and the effect of the AIDS epidemic on the social support network there.
