Anyone 15-18 years of age interested in becoming Miss First Nations at this years spring Pow Wow at the University of Washington can print out and fill out the forms below and submit them day of Pow Wow at the registration desk. With the completion of the renovation on Husky Stadium there are new parking opportunities awaiting guests and volunteers of the 2014 University of Washington Spring Pow Wow. There will be an elders parking lot located next to Hec Ed in lot E17 (highlighted in red). Along with closer general parking in lot E12 (highlighted in yellow). If you are dropping off visitors there is a drop off zone in lot E10 (highlighted in purple). For those that are volunteering for security there will be parking in lot E8 (highlighted in green) simply ask for a parking pass from one of the heads of security. As in the past there will also be parking in lot E1. Lot E97 in front of the graves building will be closed Sunday.

Getting to the parking lots going north on Montlake take a right at the second stop light after crossing the Montlake bridge crossing the Lake Washington Ship Canal.

Spring Pow Wow is a student and volunteer run event, the largest on campus and only through a supportive community is it possible. Thank you to all of those who register.
Don’t miss the 2014 Spring Pow Wow starting April 11 at 7pm at Hec Ed, this event is free to the public. There will also be a Slahal tournament on Saturday starting at 12pm, located in the Marv Harshman practice court connected to the arena. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Spring Pow Wow has been designated for April 11th, 12th, and 13th. At Alaska Airlines Arena (Hec Ed pavilion).

On October 25th 2013 from 3pm to 5:30pm the University of Washington will break ground on a project to build a Native American style longhouse, on the Seattle campus. The longhouse is expected to be completed by winter of 2015 and will be used as a gathering place for native students, faculty, and the university of Washington community, where everyone can relax, learn, and build strong relationships with one another.
