The Film Club at the University of Washington was founded in the Autumn of 1998 with the goal of promoting a greater understanding of film. Today we continue to bring together filmmakers and film appreciators by organizing and sponsoring film screenings, lectures, workshops, contests, and festivals. We boast an active membership of students, faculty, and general film lovers from the Seattle area and abroad.
