After hours of discussion over the past year we’ve come to a point of action. We’ll be spending this meeting getting oriented and creating bridges for our chapters to collaborate on a deeper level.

We saw lots of new faces eager to get involved with the chapter and we couldn’t be more excited for the coming year!

Here are some attendance numbers from the Kickoff:

With the addition of all these new students we had to create more leadership positions as well. These positions are designated to function as a middle man between the EC and Committees. Not only does it distribute the load on people’s shoulders but it also gives more opportunities for students to gain important leadership experience.
Another testament the fact that we are a student-led organization!

It is open to everyone to come and check out what the engineering departments and clubs on campus (Including EWB!) are all about.

Engineers Without Borders will be having a booth located in Sylvan Grove Theatre where we will be showcasing the work of an associated partner project, the Gambia Grain Mill Project. We will be grinding oats with some of the grinders that were designed and built for this project.

We are expecting it to be lots of fun and we hope to see you there!
