Ethiopian restaurants are a great way to share a meal with friends and family. One of the best I feel is Fasica Ethiopian Restaurant located in Columbia City. On the corner of Rainier Ave. and Edmunds St., it is a very popular spot for Ethiopians as well as others who are fortunate to stop on in. It also has live music on the weekends and very often has visiting Ethiopian bands perform the latest popular music from Addis Ababa. The price? Extremely reasonable. One platter of food will run around $7.00. Keep in mind that the platter feeds 4-5 people with leftovers besides. There is vegetarian as well as meat dishes. Alcohol is limited to wine or beer. I believe there is a smoking area.
