I am currently in my first year of PhD studies at the University of Washington. While my dissertation project is still an idea-in-progress, my research interests center on urban geography, civic technologies, and local governance.
My master's thesis, written in Geography at the University of Oregon, is titled "Touring Detroit: Ruins, Representation, and Redevelopment." It examines the paradoxical nature of "ruin tourism" in the city of Detroit. It is freely available via scholarsbank.uoregon.edu
