The Early Entrance Drama Society is an entirely student-run, self-funded organization of Early Entrance Program and Academy students who like to act. In addition to putting on a play each year, the EDS board members organize various fun, drama-oriented activities throughout the year. Arcadia is our seventeenth annual play.
Donations to EDS are always welcome. There will be a donation box in the lobby of the play, and checks made out to the EEP Drama Society can be sent to:

The Dining Room
The Dining Room by A. R. Gurney is a comedy that takes place in a dining room where 18 scenes overlap to tell the stories of different families in different time periods. By piecing together snippets of the lives of these White Anglo-Saxon Protestant (WASP) families and their relationships to the furniture that surrounds them, the play weaves together a poignant and humorous commentary on the changing culture of upper-middle class Americans in the 20th century, and paints a picture of the joys and sorrows of family life in these different points in time.
