This seminar is conducted every year during Fall with the objective of giving the Graduate Students a glimpse of the broad variety of ongoing research in the department and the future trends in evolving technologies.

Grading policy: The course is offered as credit/no-credit only. In order to receive credit for attending the seminar, you must be present for 8 out of the 10 talks this quarter. Talks will not be recorded, so you must be physically present to initial a sign-in sheet. Requests for exceptions to the 8 of 10 policy must be submitted in writing to the seminar coordinator at least two weeks before the end of the quarter (but sooner is better). Only reasonable requests will be considered.
