New homework posted. Its due on the 14th.

Three handouts on TEM posted, including the one handed out in class.

Homework 1 has been updated because questions 2 and 4 were the same. They are now different.

The first homework assignment has been posted. It is due on April 23. Looks fairly straight forward, but please email me if you run into any problems.

Additionally, there is now a "color spectrum" slide posted which may clarify some things said in class and illustrates refraction of different wavelengths better.

The lecture handout 2 file has been updated. Also, see the new specialized LOM techniques materials on the left.

Three handouts have been posted on the left. They include the lecture notes #2 and two supplemental pieces. If you did not get the small handout, it is included on the last three pages of the lecture note packet online.

Please select a term paper topic and write a paragraph explaining your choice by April 10th! For details see the Term Paper Assignment on the left.
