To celebrate our 2nd anniversary, Torrey and I climbed Mt. Rainier. Our good friends Mirte and Linden Mallory (and Mirte's beau Phillip) invited us to come along on their climbing trip and we jumped at the offer. For the last two summers, Linden has been working for Rainier Mountaineering Inc. guiding trips up Mt. Rainier, so we had an expert guide for our trip. I won't bore you with too much babble about the climb, but after some initial excitement with a passing lightning storm, we summited and got to take the "Aw shucks" photos on the summit with our wedding frisbee.
