There are several reasons to become a D.D.S. member:
- Participation in ECOH requires DDS membership!!!
- Receive announcements given only to members, such as select events and volunteer opportunites
- $100 rebate on any Kaplan (test prep) classroom course
- Ability to run for next year's officer positions
- Participate in the Annual Kaplan course online auction-- open only to D.D.S.
- Participate in the annual June drawing for a free Kaplan course
Services not restricted to members:
Students who wish to be involved with the club as non-members (or to see what the club is like before joining)
are encouraged to come to the D.D.S. office during office hours, to events organized by D.D.S., and to be
added to our e-mail list. Our officers and members strive to advise and dispense information to anyone with
an interest in the dental field, as well as direct all pre-dental students to valuable opportunities to
gain experience in dental and other healthcare settings.
How to join:
- Fill out a membership application. Applications can be downloaded (Word File), or picked up at all D.D.S. events and during office hours. To request that an application be e-mailed to you, contact us at dental@u.washington.edu
- A yearly due of $10.00 (cash or check payable to Delta Delta Sigma) must be paid.
- Turn in your application and payment. Applications and payments will be accepted at all D.D.S. events and activities. Also, you can mail or hand-deliver to our office in the HUB. If it is outside of office hours, leave the application in our mailbox. Our address is:
