AADSAS Dental Application Meeting-- Wednesday, May 21 (5:30- 6:30, HSB T639). We're teaming up with TEETH to present tips on how to navigate through the AADSAS application process.

Personal Statement Seminar-- Wednesday, April 30th, 6-8 pm. Get to the Kaplan Center on the Ave and 42nd to get great tips on how to write the personal statement that gets you accepted.

Kaplan Silent Auction-- The auction has now ended. Congratulations to the highest bidder.

Lunch With a Dentist-- Get all your questions answered by a genuine professional. This event will be held through the week of March 3- 7 and will give you the opportunity to meet with a dentist or dental student over lunch to ask any questions you may have. You will be required to purchase your own lunch. The specifics of the various lunches have been e-mailed to you. If you're not on our e-mail list, contact us so that we can sign you up!

Wax and Relax, February 26th (5:00 pm, D-1 Lab on the first floor of Health Sciences D-Wing) -- The ASDA is hosting this event. Come get a taste of dental school and what dentistry is all about. There will be food, music, and plenty of dental students roaming to help out and also answer any questions you might have about becoming a dental professional. Spaces fill up quickly, so RSVP with your name and the name of your school at UWDentalWax@gmail.com to hold your spot. Precise directions will be e-mailed to you later!

Dental Panel, January 16th (6:00 pm, HSB T435)-- We have lined up a variety of speakers for our annual dental panel: dentists, dental students, and dental admissions officers. Come hear what they have to say on a variety of topics in dentistry!

General Meeting-- November 20 (5:30- 7:30, HSB T-625) We hope you enjoyed our first general meeting of the year. If you weren't able to make it, please have a look at our power point slides from the meeting.

Introduction to Creighton University School of Dentistry, November 1 (3:00-4:30, Denny 315)-- Dr. Gary Westermann of CUSoD visited our campus to give information about this great dental school. This was not a D.D.S.-hosted event.

Interview Meeting, October 17 (5:30-7:30 HSB T-439)-- Tips on how to make the most of your interview. Speakers included Dr. Govin of UWSoD, and UWSoD dental students Dan Bakko and Tyson Chung. If you were unable to attend the event, please view our pdf file of the slides presented.

Freshman Information Meeting, October 16-17 (2:30 in the Native American Room at the Ethnic Culture Center)-- This was an informative meeting with Heather Clineschmidt, UW pre-health advisor, for freshman looking into attending dental school. This was not a D.D.S.-hosted event, but we hope all freshman hopefuls attended and learned some great information!
