About Me:

Hi, My name is Daniel Chekota. My birthday is on I am 20 years old and I am Russian.

  • I have five siblings and am an uncle of three nieces and one nephew.

  • Whether it is getting food, boba, bowling, or hiking, I love spending time with my friends. I am a very social person and can get along with many different types of people regardless of interests.

  • My current hobbies besides hanging out with friends involve reading, playing video games, and watching anime / kdramas. This summer, I've gotten into reading novels and my favorites so far are The Traveling Cat Chronicles and The Five People You Meet In Heavan When it is not summer when I prefer to dress like a bum, I enjoy fashion and experimenting with my style. Currently, I am almost done watching StartUp, and my all time favorite anime is Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.

    Advice:

    Here is some advice I have after experiencing a year at UW.

    1. Google Calendar is essential
    2. You can nver have too many alarms
    3. Don't set unrealistic expectations
    4. Throw that phone across the room (no distractions)
    5. Caffeine is not a sleep supplement
    6. Check up on yourself
    7. Embrace failures and learn from them
    8. Don't compare yourself to others
    9. Seek oppurtunities, they won't seek you
    10. Utilize class time
    11. Last minute studying is unreliable, don't do it
