  Professional Experience
After graduating with a liberal arts degree, majoring in geology, I went to work for Apple Computer and their sub-contractor Educational Technology Associates. After two years I headed to Wyoming and started my National Park Service career. I've worked at several NPS units since 1999, including:

  • Fossil Buttle National Monument
  • Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area
  • Dinosaur National Monument
  • Amistad National Recreation Area
  • Lava Beds National Monument
...with a number of temporary details to other parks, including Glacier, Joshua Tree, Arches, and others. Great experiences!
  •   Skills & Interests
While in school, my time for hobbies has disappeared. However, I enjoy guitar and I'm looking for a cheap used cello or string bass to play, and have a banjo I need to pick up again. I enjoy graphic and web design, and tinkering with technology (and run a tiny computer help and advice service). I also enjoy photography with my Nikon D300 and travel with it whenever I can. I live in Fremont with my lovely girlfriend Erin.
