ABOUT ME

Who I Am

I am a creator. Most of the things I love to do involves creating in some way. I draw, make music, construct languages, and invent sports to play with friends. And now I hope that I can expand my creative nature to ultimately utilize it to design innovative interactive interfaces that immerse users in a world that augments its everyday reality with technology.

Three Strongest Skills

Music

I enjoy and appreciate music that is rich and purposeful with its sounds and I try to play and make music that is so as well. I am eager to learn about what purpose the many different features present in music serve in affecting us emotionally and mentally. I tend to always want to expand my abilities to work with as many different musical mediums and instruments as possible as that will also expose me to a wider variety of ways of expressing ideas through sound.

Visual Art

Drawing is the first ever passion of mine, and it has maintained my interest going into digital mediums as well. As part of my first quarter at UWB, I took a creativity class that led me to put together both representational and non-representational collages for the first time. Although, I have always drawn representational art and abstract art is something I have yet to explore.

Linguistics

I am a enthusiast of linguistics; it intrigues me the variety of ways different languages arrange the same information. I spend my time looking at the documentation of the most common and most unusual features of languages around the world. In addition, I have started a project on constructing an original language of my own, just for the sake of the fun in finding my own ways of arranging information.

Inspiration

THE SITE DESIGN IDEA

Layout

With a navbar on top that links to my works, the page is going to have a Bootstrap card that resembles a dictionary entry that arranges my information in a word and definition style. My name is the word with ‘creator’ as its “part of speech,” and its definition will be my personal statement without pronouns. The “word origin” is going to be where my compilation of inspiration stays. Under the box will be a Bootstrap accordion that starts closed. It will reveal my three strongest skills when opened.

Method

Constructing the web page will utilize Bootstrap for its interactive and predesigned components. The rest will be HTML and CSS for now, coded in Visual Studio Code and uploaded to BitBucket before deploying to a website of my choice to be viewed by the world.
