Now that the senate has finished the legislative agenda it can move on to important resolutions. I liked the resolution in support of a late-night coffee shop, although i did suggest we not call it a 24-hour coffee shop when it closed at 4am every night. i was really happy to have such an important contribution to the political process.

i’ve been highly amused by everyone’s obsession with “constituents” in senate. people talk about their constituents as if college students actually care about everything we talk about. i really want to have an argument with another senator consisting of “my constituency is cooler than yours” (which mine is, btw, because we are by far the coolest).

oh, and the senate chair wore an hcl shirt, which made me feel our interesets are well taken care of.
