Honors Croquet League

Senate Reports

Resolution R-11-35 in Support of the Honors Croquet League’s Fifth Annual All-Campus Tournament when on the floor for first readings tonight. It was quickly moved to second readings and overwhelmingly passed at 7:40 pm—40 minutes past usual adjournment time. One ammendment was made to add the date, time, and venue of the All-Campus Tournament while the clause regarding League membership guidelines, also known as the “Yuri Barron” clause, was left untouched unlike last year.

However, like last year, this resolution passed without quorum as later confirmed by a Senate officer who took a discreet headcount during the presentation of this legislation. Luckily, no one noticed. I will chuckle now, but if this happens again next year, I will lobby for this as a new Croquet League tradition.
