After two senate meetings thus far, I have arrived at a succinct conclusion about senate: THIS SHIT IS BORING!!!! Seriously, all we have done so far is elect committee chairs, elect liaisons, and blah blah blah...

I cannot overemphasize just how boring senate is and how foolish I feel having gotten myself elected. I must have been in some sort of power-hungry stupor when I enthusiastically sold my soul to the devil of boredom and gave away Tuesday evening for the entire academic YEAR.

You ask “Raz, surely you can see something positive about all this? Especially considering your upbeat nature.”

I reply “Fool, shut your mouth! You have no idea how boring this shit really is! A positive? How about this: I am absolutely positive that senate is fucking boring!”

It is in fact so boring that if I were to die sometime during a senate meeting, the transition would be seamless. If I die in the next year, I want it to be during a senate meeting so that I do not notice the change.

Oh man, if things don’t get interesting soon, I may very well petition to hold a recall election against myself. Don’t even think of campaigning to keep me in office.
