Other Stuff
I’m sure you all have heard about the policy where if you have oever 210 credits but haven’t applied for graduation you have to figure out a plan to graduate within two quarters. This and another policy that kicks students out who can’t meet the 2.0 gpa requirement have been on the books since the 80’s. The administration just hasn’t been enforcing them until now due to the over-enrollment problem. As of yet, there is no set process for how to handle students to came here with college credit (AP, Running Start, EEP) or those with multiple majors which is having not-so-great results for people who haven’t been here that long. The argument that has come up is that “the four years here are not actually guaranteed.” In light of this, the ASUW Board of Directors is encouraging everyone to email Dean Bridges to express your concerns about this.
