Senate Stuff
- R-9-41 Supporting Run-Off Voting in ASUW Elections passed.
- R-9-28 Regarding the Institution of Course Fees passed.
Olympia Stuff
- The original economic forecast for the state was underestimated. Rather than a $2.5 billion deficit we have a $2.7 billion deficit.
- Governor and Senate budget plans: all cuts, no revenue; the House is currently drafting their plan which will involve cuts and taxes.
- There are two tuition-setting authority bills (giving local authority) which passed in Senate but are stalled in the House.
- Tuition surcharge bill: killed in House, now in Senate
- Evans-Gardner Bill won't get as much money for capital works projects as originally proposed but may still get up to $1 billion.

- The Botany and Zoology departments are being consolidated into the Biology department, and Forestry is consolidating some of its majors. The ASUW Board of Directors wants student input on this if you're in those departments.
