I am a Ph.D student in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Washington, with a specialization in syntax. I got my B.A. degree in English from Washington State University and did some coursework in functional syntax at the University of Oregon. I am mainly interested in the Minimalist Program, syntactic theory, diachronic syntax, Modern and Classical Chinese syntax, and second language acquisition. I am currently under the supervision of Professor Edith Aldridge, who is also the chair of my Ph.D committee. Other members include Prof. Barbara Citko, Prof. Julia Herschensohn, and Prof. Anne Yue-Hashimoto (GSR). |
