this is happening:

a few climbing club folks are going down saturday late afternoon to see how it goes, so if you want to get in on the group photo, here's a good place to coordinate rides. the plan is to drive & camp together, hang out on the summit, and maybe dinner together on the way home, but this is a sufficiently big trip that we're not coordinating the climb itself. you need to be able to able to ski / snowshoe / crampon this independently, with prior experience with self-arrest and winter travel with whichever mode you choose.

weather looks good, avalanche forecast looks uncertain.

bring a dress.

also, buy your permits 24h in advance, and pick them up before 9pm saturday or else you get some bonus driving sunday morning:

Lucas, Jamie and I are going, 2x snowshoers, 1x beginning skier. We'll be camping Saturday night, leaving Seattle by 5pm and getting an early early start in on Sunday morning.

We might have possible squeezeable room for one more (gear+ski crowding), get in touch if you're desperate for a ride!
