We'll be meeting at the Big Time Brewery on Wednesday (6/11) at 6:30 pm for food, drink, and trip planning.

Looking for suggestions for next week.

Are we looking to stay in the Udistrict? If not I will suggest Elysian or the Kangaroo and Kiwi

Because I'm very unimaginative, Pub Night will be at the Big Time Brewery on Wednesday (7/9) at 6:30.

Care to recommend a location for next week to break the rut?

I recommend you get a car, a fast one, red, a convertible, all wheel drive if possible and start driving south. Driving, motoring, possibly tacking against the smog of the central valley where cactus grows amidst orange groves. Stop only for petrol, caffiene, and urination. Listen to The Doors while nodding in benzedrine trance..southward. When the pressure of LA looms on the horizon head east. There is a road that will lead you to Buckeye 14aught6 where there is a selection of dark beer in the refrigerator. Don't forget your sunglasses and pay no attention to the scorpions, they only want your leftovers.

Those who cannot make the trip to LA (or are scared of scorpions and smog) might consider hitting the College Inn (where we can play some pool in addition to exchanging mountaineering tales).

Dallas, are you in LA for the summer?

Per Eric's suggestion, this week, we'll be moving locations down the Ave to the College Inn Pub. As it's been pointed out, this gives us the opportunity to eat, drink, plan trips, *and* play pool.

Wednesday night starting at 6:30.

I'll be out of town in hot, smoky, Sacramento, but try to have fun without me. 8)

Pub Night will return to the Big Time this week after a foray to the College Inn. Wendy is back in town and wants to drink West coast beer after learning that beer in Chicago is pretty terrible. Apparently, no one made her aware of that before she took the job.

Big Time Brewery: starting 6:30 PM on Wednesday

I only know the Clark/Glacier story secondhand, but perhaps someone from the expedition will be there?
