Hey all!

Is anyone interested in a 8-10 mile hike nearby Sunday? Ideally back by 1 pm or 2 pm at the latest? There's supposed to be such good weather this weekend and I can't stand letting studying get in the way of all of it!

I don't have a car so hopefully someone with one will be interested. Gas monies and baked good will be contributed. :) Details below!

1. Meet at Burke 8 am

2. Estimated return time should be noon, or 1 pm at the latest

3. No car :(

4. Hikes I was thinking about are... Poo Poo Point (hehe) which is 7.4 miles or Middle Tiger, which is 8 miles and has a little bit of scrambling at the top. Both of those are in Issaquah.

I also have never done Mt.'s 8 miles, steeper, and supposed to be fun. Also farther away and guaranteed to be crowded, but if any of you are wiling to leave maybe close to 7 and try to beat the crowd, I'd be down too! It's also still on the early end of summer, so this is probably the point of best weather, least people (relatively speaking).

5. Basic (pack, shoes, 1-2 liters of water) and trekking poles

6. Reply here or email at and I'll probably just end up giving you my number.

oh hey. i was just about to post for something Sunday for myself & Andy B. we were thinking of going further afield, but i could always work more (bah). Given the time constraint, i'd pick Middle Tiger 3-2-1 (all 3 peaks). i do have a car & a Discover Pass. Let me see what andy's up to -- grab my email/number from jason and ping me later.
