Hey everyone,
Things are looking good so far for everyone being able to go! From my quick count we have: 19 people, 7 cars (with 27 slots), and ten ropes. Bring everything you said you could and meet at the park and ride Sunday. We'll figure out the exact carpool plan there (but there is definately enough space, so we are set). Sunshine Wall won't know what hit it with all these UWCCer's! We may branch out the other areas at Vantage too (i.e. Millenium Wall) if things get too crowded. Lastly, mark your gear before the trip. Things tend to get mixed up with this many people and after the trip return any gear you accidently acquire. See you all Sunday!

Val

Getting to P&R - So I can't really get a bus to the 65th/I-5 Park and Ride that early in the morning (and not conveniently any time of day!). I live tucked in up above the U-Village; can anyone give me a ride up to the meeting point? Somewhat lame, but otherwise it's like a 40 minute walk at least...

Looks like Ice climbing is a no go. Thoughts on making Vantage a 2day or day and a half?

The forecast for Saturday at Vantage has gotten significantly worse 60% chance rain on Sat, 70% chance sat night. Sunday is still forecasted to be 52 degrees and mostly sunny! I think that odds here point to a one-day trip.

Could somebody please give a little bit more details about the meeting spot!? I am having a hard time to find out which park & ride you are referring to.

Thanks Thoralf

Since ice climbing is cancelled, I would like to go if there's still room!

1. I don't have a car.
2. I can lead sport up to 5.8.
3. I only have my own personal gear.

Since I'm back in town I'm in. Have a car/gear. And Val you can lead harder than 5.8 especially vantage so don't lie.

If anyone owns a fish and wildlife permit, bring it tomorrow. We are technically supposed to have them to park there; though I've parked there about a dozen times without one and still haven't gotten a ticket.

I believe that you can pick up one of these permits at Big 5 on the Ave for about $12.

hey everyone,

I've decided to switch over to the Scorpion Mtn hike Brian is doing, so unfortunately I won't be able to come to Vantage.

Hope everyone has a blast!

Trying again - anyone driving to park&ride tomorrow morning in a way that a stop near NE 55th/ U Village would be easy?

I'll pick you up! Give me a call tonight and leave me a message with your address or directions to get you. If my phone is being wierd and won't let you through, try again. See you tomorrow.
