Just a heads up for anyone hoping to do some weekday Tatoosh skiing or planning on climbing Rainier in the future.

I mis-read your post as implying the road would be closed for four years... so this was a bit of a relief:

"Park officials are warning visitors to allow themselves an extra hour roundtrip when making the drive on weekdays through early fall."
