Dr. Crevasse appears to have a history degree as well! I've heard Charles used to climb 5.14.

Brian totally deserves credit for "good times", and no, I'm not just trying to add to the Brian P.'s mythology (though I hear he climbs 5.13). The earliest recorded "good times" that I've have are from
Glacier Peak (June 18, 2005). This is really vintage "good times", before we were good at name that peak or had a sense of direction. Note: we had "good times" on climbs before this, but they were undocumented (no video record). I didn't started using "good times" in the video form until over two years later (July 29, 2007) on the summit of
Prusik Peak. But Evan is right that I used it quite a bit in Peru. After all oxygen deprivation from being over 5000 m is "good times."
