Sunday at the campout saw the group splitting into three groups - one off to multipitch trad on February Buttress, one to Playground Point, and another to 'I don't actually know where'. I can only speak for the February Buttress crew, but I can report that 6 of us (Rona and I, Brendan and Jason, Svenja and Gunter) cruised up a surprisingly not crowded Groundhog Day with only one party ahead of us. Svenja and Gunter also managed to steal a run up Aquarius next door before making it down to the ground and up behind the rest of us on GD to join for a leapfrog rappel down.

A successful and mellow finish to an excellent campout, we successfully introduced Rona to her first multipitch and the rest of us had a taste of the fun to come with summer... ah, sunshine and warm rock!

I can also vouch for the fact that as the guidebook suggests, a 70m rope is better for the top rappel on the route. While the party before us managed it with rope stretch on a 60m, my less stretchy rope resulted in a brief spot of protectable downclimbing to the anchors. (Nicely done Rona!)

Others, let us know what you did on Sunday, or Saturday for that matter! I know there was a lot of cragging and several times on real rock!
