Groups of us headed out skiing to Fjallstasjon Storulvån for two consecutive weekends. Little snow has made it to Scandinavia recently, but we were still able to find shallow wind-consolidated powder on east slopes.

Fjallstasjon Storulvån has bunks for 150 SEK per night (about $20 US) in February, which includes access to a sauna, fully equipped kitchen, lounge, and bar - highly recommended! There is a nightly music quiz so brush up on your Swedish pop music knowledge before your trip. We drove a few km down the road to access the best east-facing lines, but in snowier conditions, excellent skiing is available right from the door. The staff is even highly tolerant of silly Americans speaking to them in horrible Swedish (they speak fluent English as well).
