Former Pub Czarina (Katrina) and President (myself) drove up to BC to visit the club's favorite former, honorary, arm-flapping, hard-to-understand, Brit (Catrin aka Hob Nobs). We toured for two days at Cayoosh Pass, north of Pemberton on Highway 99 with a resort day at Whistler in between. While WA snow was just starting to fall, BC had a super stable snowpack topped with 8-10 inches of powder, which made for amazing skiing. Access to the pass is easy ( 1 hr north of Whistler) and you park at pull outs along the pass which lies at 4,000 ft and gives access to sweet alpine with only a couple hours of touring.

Start of day one. Heading south of the pass up Mt. Chief Pascall (apparently not the same Pascal for which a unit of pressure is named).

After a day at Whistler, Catrin and I headed to the pass again, but this time headed north into Marriott Basin. After missing the turn for our Plan A, we quickly decided that anywhere in this basin is freaking awesome, so we headed up towards Rohr Lake to find something to ski.

Thanks for clarifying about it not being related to the pressure Pascal - otherwise wondering about that would've kept me up for days.
